Located in East Burke Village on the green at the Burke Mountain Clubhouse/East Burke Library. The Burke Fall Festival is organized and hosted by the Burke Area Chamber of Commerce with assistance from many volunteers, local businesses and other organizations. The event is a fundraiser for the Chamber with proceeds used to help us promote the Burke Area, provide services to our members and support economic growth in our community.


The days' events include:

  • Parade starts at 10am
  • BBQ with burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, sausages and more!
  • Kids Area with games and face painting (proceeds benefit Burke Town School)
  • FREE ice cream for kids (1pm) donated by Clementine's Creamery
  • Pony Rides
  • Horse Drawn Wagon Rides
  • Farm Animal Petting Zoo
  • Cow Plop Bingo (cash prizes) - Purchase squares prior to 9/30 at East Burke Market or Mike's Gas in West Burke.
  • Purchase squares on festival day at the Burke Chamber/Festival Info Booth. $5 per square. Winner gets half the pot!
  • Book Sale inside the East Burke Community Library (proceeds benefit library/Burke Mtn Club)
  • White Schoolhouse Tours
  • Craft Fair featuring 70+ vendors! 
  • Raffle of Crafts from festival vendors - at the Burke Chamber/Festival Info Booth 
  • Fall Fest posters, beer mugs, shirts, sweatshirts and more for sale at the Burke Chamber/Festival Info Booth
  • Burke Citizen of the Year announced after the parade (10:30am or so) at the Gazebo
  • 11am - Interactive show from Reptiles on the Move at the Gazebo
  • noon - 2:30pm - Music from Whiskers of Odd at the Gazebo 
  • 1pm - Rubber Ducky Races at the Dishmill Brook - cash prizes! (proceeds benefit Lyndon Rescue)
  • 9am-1pm - East Burke Congregational Church (538 Route 114) - Sale by Donation
    Older folding wooden chairs, cane seat chairs, children's puppet theater, handmade puppets and various household items.
  • 11am-3pm- East Burke School (611 Route 114) - 20th Anniversary Celebration and Open House! 
    Lunch options, hot mulled cider*, lawn games, craft demonstrations, school tours
    *Free mulled cider for all first responders, road crews, law enforcement and anyone else assisting with flood recovery efforts.
  • 11am-2pm - Thaddeus Stevens School (638 Route 114) - Chemistry Activity: What's in Your Water? Paint Your Face o Nature


Festival parking - Please be aware that traffic and parking in the village will be very busy on festival day. Plan accordingly! Carpool if possible. Festival parking will mainly be at the East Burke Storage shed lot on Route 114 (a three minute walk to the festival). When that is full, you may need to park just down the road at Darling Recreational Park on Route 114 (across from the cemetery just past the Mountain Rd/114 intersection. A 5-10 minute walk to the green).


Please drive carefully and slowly through the village and do not park in private business lots or areas marked, 'No Parking.'
Route 114 from the East Burke Fire Station to Pinkham Road will be closed for the parade from 9:45-10:45am.

The Burklyn Arts 2025 Summer Craft Fair will take place Saturday, June 28th, at the Fenton Chester Arena in Lyndon Center, Vermont (on the Lyndon Institute campus), This great outdoor and indoor location ensures that, rain or shine, the crafts fair will be held all day, from 10 am to 4 pm!
