Concord/Gilman Report Presentation & Meeting Information

Dear Parents, Guardians and Families of the Concord and Gilman community,


The ºÚÁÏÍø East School Board is reviewing a report about the Gilman School, and the potential for merging 6th – 8th grade of Gilman and Concord. Many of you shared input at the meetings last spring, summer, and then some folks also shared input this past fall.


Tomorrow the Report will be shared with the ºÚÁÏÍø East Board, and there will be a month to ask questions, review and the board will vote in May. I wanted to provide you with a link to the report and the meeting information.

Congratulations to Devon Bedor of Lyndon, Vermont, who has been honored with the 2025 Vermont Writers’ Prize in poetry for his beautiful and heartfelt piece, “Sowing Season.” Hosted by Green Mountain Power and Vermont Magazine, the prestigious contest recognized Devon for his moving reflection on the tension between everyday responsibilities and the longing for peace and beauty in nature.

The Burklyn Arts 2025 Summer Craft Fair will take place Saturday, June 28th, at the Fenton Chester Arena in Lyndon Center, Vermont (on the Lyndon Institute campus), This great outdoor and indoor location ensures that, rain or shine, the crafts fair will be held all day, from 10 am to 4 pm!
