Concord/Lunenburg 5-8 Coed Soccer at STJ School 10/19

The 5-8 soccer team played in St Johnsbury Tuesday afternoon. After only a week between matches, the team was focused on improving from the previous matchup. The game remained scoreless through the bulk of the first half, a very significant change from the first game. The athletes competed for each loose ball and worked hard in transition. Tyson Fortin manned the goal in the first half totaling nine saves. Makayla Savage got her first chance in goal in preparation for Thursdays girls only game. She had a shut out 2nd half and tallied seven saves. What a great game Wildcats!! The final score was 3-0, but each player improved in all aspects of the game, excellent work athletes!!
