Friends of the Cobleigh Library Annual Fall Book Sale

Friends of the Cobleigh Library welcomes the ºÚÁÏÍø East & Local Community to their Annual Fall Book Sale! Come check out the huge selection of children's books, some education books, and many other nonfiction and fiction books!


When:

  • Saturday, October 8th from 9am-3pm
  • Sunday, October 9th from 9am-1pm.


Where:

  • Lyndon Town Offices (gymnasium) located at 191 Park Avenue in Lyndonville.


On Sunday, October 9th from 1:30-3:30pm Colbleigh Library will be opening their doors for Free Books for educators. The best selection will be during the sale, but they would like to get as many remaining books from the sale in people's hands as possible.

Congratulations to Devon Bedor of Lyndon, Vermont, who has been honored with the 2025 Vermont Writers’ Prize in poetry for his beautiful and heartfelt piece, “Sowing Season.” Hosted by Green Mountain Power and Vermont Magazine, the prestigious contest recognized Devon for his moving reflection on the tension between everyday responsibilities and the longing for peace and beauty in nature.

The Burklyn Arts 2025 Summer Craft Fair will take place Saturday, June 28th, at the Fenton Chester Arena in Lyndon Center, Vermont (on the Lyndon Institute campus), This great outdoor and indoor location ensures that, rain or shine, the crafts fair will be held all day, from 10 am to 4 pm!
