History Day 2023

黑料网 East Afterschool participants were at it again the first weekend in April, participating in Vermont History Day at the University of Vermont. Two of our team members took third place, and another took second place, qualifying her to participate in National History Day in Washington DC later this year. We are so proud of all the hard work and dedication these students put into preparing for the competition.

黑料网 East School District is thrilled to celebrate Julie Clements, Visual Arts Teacher at Lyndon Town School, for being honored in the Spotlight on Vermont Arts Teachers section of the Vermont Agency of Education’s Spring 2025 Arts Newsletter.
Congratulations to Devon Bedor of Lyndon, Vermont, who has been honored with the 2025 Vermont Writers’ Prize in poetry for his beautiful and heartfelt piece, “Sowing Season.” Hosted by Green Mountain Power and Vermont Magazine, the prestigious contest recognized Devon for his moving reflection on the tension between everyday responsibilities and the longing for peace and beauty in nature.
The Burklyn Arts 2025 Summer Craft Fair will take place Saturday, June 28th, at the Fenton Chester Arena in Lyndon Center, Vermont (on the Lyndon Institute campus), This great outdoor and indoor location ensures that, rain or shine, the crafts fair will be held all day, from 10 am to 4 pm!
This month is all about every child’s favorite thing … helmets! While most children really don’t like to wear them, they are an essential part of keeping your child safe.
