February 5 KESD 6th Grade Girls at Blue Mtn.

The KESD 6th grade girls traveled to BMU on Saturday and secured another win.

By the end of the first half the score was too close to call with KESD only leading by two points.

KESD exhibited true team work by moving the ball around with quick, accurate passes while patiently waiting for the open shot, or open lane to the hoop.

In the second half KESD’s tough defense coupled with three blocked shots by Mariah Birch prevented BMU from catching up. Emma Sanville and Emmy Smith both led KESD with six points each. Miranda Caron was right behind them with four.

The entire team pitched in for this win with multiple rebounds from Eva Thomas, and the support of strong help defense by Julia Allen.

Final winning score was 16-9.
