KESD-Lyndon 7/8 Girls and Boys Soccer v. Twinfield 9/21

The girls soccer team opened matches with a 2-1 victory verses Twinfield. Lyndon struck first in the contest, only to have Twinfield answer back evening the contest at 1-1 at the half. In a very evenly played game, the girls got the game winner in the second half and followed by locking down defensively as Twinfield had some solid opportunities late.

The boys game saw the Lyndon side matched against a strong and skilled side from Twinfield. The boys were shutout in this contest, but look forward to a rematch later in the season to use as a measure of their progress.

The teams will partner in playing the first of two coed games in the schedule when they travel to Blue Mtn this Friday.
