September 20, 2022 Game Summary --

The North 7/8 Boys played at St Johnsbury Tuesday night. Zak Aubin (LTS) started in goal for ºÚÁÏÍø East and did an excellent job. He did not allow a goal as keeper during the first half. KESD took the lead during the first half when Kingston Newell (Riverside) played a ball into the middle to Graham Moriarty (Newark) who calmly laid it off for Tatum Steen (Newark). Steen calmly slotted the ball past St Johnsbury’s goalkeeper.

Axel Benoit (Burke) had a nice game. He often was in the right place and had several nice crosses and shots. Garrett Mitchell (LTS) was also a presence on the field. His speedy runs threatened the defense several times but didn’t result in a score.

KESD scored its second goal off the foot of Gabe Adams (Riverside). Once again Graham Moriarty played the ball to the middle where Adams deftly took the ball around a couple of defenders. He was composed as he found the back of the net with his shot.

St Johnsbury scored a goal to make it 2-1. KESD held on with a solid defensive stand for the win.
