October 3, 2022 Game Summary --

The KESD Lyndon squad put up another good battle, despite being low on substitutes, as they were just barely edged out by Danville 2-3.

“It was a good back and forth game that could have gone either way. We were making great plays, challenging the ball and our defense helped block a lot of opportunities for them. I have to say that Matt Taylor picked us out of a jam in the stopper spot multiple times” says Coach Bias.

Goals were scored by a beautiful chip over the goalie's head for Cannon Warstler’s first goal of the season and off the assisting cross from Trent Ainsworth. Grayson Bias also was able to find the back of the net with the ball off a corner kick from Pace McKinnon.

The goalie duty was shared in a decent showing from Grayson and Trent as well, who both made many great blocks and helped keep Lyndon in the game until the ending whistle.

“I am beyond proud of how far our squad has come and can’t help to think how well we do when we are all back and healthy. Pretty soon that time will come” said Coach Bias.
