KESD North Softball vs North Country

The ºÚÁÏÍø East North Softball team fought North Country in a back and forth exciting game on Tuesday night that they eventually lost 8 to 7 on a walkoff single in the bottom of the 7th inning.


Jenna Royer turned in another strong pitching performance by striking out 12 batters in 6 2/3 innings.


ºÚÁÏÍø East took a 7 to 5 lead in the 5th inning thanks to timely hits by Sydney Gilman and Emilee Bunnell only to have North Country tie it up in the bottom half of that inning.


After neither team scored in the 6th, North Country ended the game with a 2 out single to right with two outs in the 7th.
