September 21, 2022

September 21, 2022 Game Summary --

Final Score: KESD South 1 - Oxbow 3

It was a beautiful night for soccer! It was a hard fought battle on the pitch tonight in Oxbow. Oxbow scored two quick goals and then Cooper Daft had an answer with under a minute left in the half. Oxbow squeezed in one more goal in the second half.

The front line of Grayson Hallett, Conner Putvain, Muuji Johnson and Cooper kept the pressure on but the goalie from Oxbow always seemed to have an answer.

The midfield of Spencer Gingue, Lucas Sourbeer and Zak Aubin put in solid minutes to contain the ball in the neutral zone.

The defense were challenged all night and Asher Garand, Ely Kelley and Caiden Johnson held the fence and pushed the ball out of their own zone.

Noah Miller had a steady performance in goal.

KESD South heads to Lyndon to play KESD North on Friday!
