February 7 KESD Warner 7/8 Girls at Coventry

On Monday night, the KESD 7-8 Girls team battled an evenly matched Coventry squad to a two point loss.

KESD was led by Cora Lawson and Marah Mitchell each scoring with six points in a game in which they led beginning the 4th quarter.

KESD was missing four of its regular players, but thanks to Emmy Smith and Emma Sanville, two LTS 6th graders who joined the team for the night, the game was able to be played.

Both girls contributed meaningful minutes and helped to keep the team in the game.
