Kory, thank you for your 2.5 years of dedication to ºÚÁÏÍø East! We greatly appreciate your contributions to the ºÚÁÏÍø East School District and community.


The ºÚÁÏÍø East School District school board has accepted Kory Cantins' resignation from the board effective October 10, 2023. Kory joined the Board in March 2021, representing the Town of Lunenburg and has been a tireless advocate for Lunenburg and KESD students through his expert work on the Finance Committee and with the full board.

Kory always brought a balanced vision of the needs of students and staff with the financial needs of our communities. His vision, financial expertise and heart will be missed on the KESD school board.


We wish you nothing but happiness and success in your future endeavors.

Congratulations to Devon Bedor of Lyndon, Vermont, who has been honored with the 2025 Vermont Writers’ Prize in poetry for his beautiful and heartfelt piece, “Sowing Season.” Hosted by Green Mountain Power and Vermont Magazine, the prestigious contest recognized Devon for his moving reflection on the tension between everyday responsibilities and the longing for peace and beauty in nature.

The Burklyn Arts 2025 Summer Craft Fair will take place Saturday, June 28th, at the Fenton Chester Arena in Lyndon Center, Vermont (on the Lyndon Institute campus), This great outdoor and indoor location ensures that, rain or shine, the crafts fair will be held all day, from 10 am to 4 pm!
