Concord/ Lunenburg/ Waterford 7/8 girls rematch

The 7/8 KESD girls basketball team played at North Country Union on Tuesday night in a rematch from last Friday.

A new starting lineup took the floor for this game and started off strong.

Brianna Bunnell would lead the team offensively scoring a quick seven points. Makayla Savage jumped on the board with a steal and a transition layup.

The KESD girls picked up the defense forcing eight turnovers and getting out in transition. Jayden Bunnell, Brianna Bunnell and Madisyn Amadon added to the scoring.

KESD led 15-2 at halftime.

The 3rd quarter saw Brianna Bunnell score six points off assists from Madisyn Amadon and Mya Barney. Jayden Bunnell added another four points.

NCU got their offense rolling in the 4th quarter and out scored the KESD girls 5-4.

The KESD girls would go on to win 29-9. Brianna Bunnell led the way with 18 points, 5 Rebounds, 2 Steals, and 2 Blocks. Madisyn Amadon led the team in Assists with three. Ashtyn Chadburn had a break out game on defense forcing turnovers and grabbing three steals. Congrats ladies, job well done!
