First Game of the Season LYNDON RICHARDSON 5th grade girls

The 5th grade girls played their first game on Monday against the 5/6 team from St. Johnsbury.

The team had a great game for their first time out.

After shaking off the initial jitters they had a nice comeback in the second half but ran out of time, with the final score 21-16 St J.

Leading scorer for KESD was Lucia Tenaglia with eight points, followed by Norah LaValley and Mia Allen with three points each, and Emily Taylor with two.

The team had many great plays on defense with multiple steals, and everyone worked hard on both sides of the court.

Congratulations on this first game out!
